HVO powers up Dungog Pedalfest with sun-safe support

Dungog Pedalfest participants had a cool ride during the recent event thanks to support from Hunter Valley Operations (HVO).

HVO provided in-kind donations designed to keep riders cool, safe and on course. Three sun-safe marquees and branded hats provided vital shade, while signage and eye-catching banners guided competitors and spectators throughout the three-day cycling festival.

The event showcased a thrilling mix of heritage and modern events: the National Dandy Horse Championships (the precursor to today’s balance-bike), the NSW Penny Farthing and Footbike State Championships, as well as the NSW School Funduro Mountain Bike Championships.

All event proceeds benefit the Dungog Shire Community Centre, fueling local programs that bring neighbours together and strengthen community spirit. HVO’s sun-safety and event-management kit helped from start-line marshalling to finish-line celebrations.

This activation builds on HVO’s commitment to grassroots initiatives that deliver great community benefits.
